Membership

The 8D Association is open to any person who is interested in the railways of South Lancashire and North Cheshire within a ten mile radius of the Widnes Locomotive Shed which had the shed code 8D. .

The society has members from all walks of life including past and present railway staff, historians, authors and people with a general interest in railways.

Membership is currently £12.00 per year. Members receive a quarterly journal ‘On Shed’ and are able to participate in events organised by the association.

(NB Membership will increase to £15.00 per year commencing 1st January 2024)
